Lessons learned by a parent.

The house basically framed

The house is under roof.  Things are starting to look like our vision.  Hopefully in another couple of weeks we’ll start seeing brick and be able to push the ground up to match the house so it won’t like like I’m playing "King of the Hill." The Davie County Fair

Davie County in North Carolina has a fair every year.  Last year I wasn’t a resident, this year I was, so I entered some stuff.  I entered several photos, a wooden lamp I had made and my rather unique "Purgatory Food Cake." My daugher and son entered some work they had done as well. Operation In As Much

Our church had an event today.  "Operation In As Much."   There were a lot of projects to choose from from yard work, to washing cars, to building handicap ramps.  This is all to help people in our community with no reward in return.  So being the type of person I am, I chose the technically most difficult project; handicap ramps.  That didn’t last. ...
